My Last Celebrate of New Year in High School

I still can remember that night. It was a very crazy night. It was my last new year in my high school night. In that day, after school, my best friend and I were going to have a big meal that evening because that day was a new year. We took bus together like usual, and chat something about future. Then we entered to a special restaurant. It was a Japanese restaurant, and it sold pork chop rice only. But there are varieties of pork chop rice. We all felt satisfied after we finished the meal. Then he went home and I went to learn center because I still had other course. After I finished my course, everything was just begun. It almost 22:30, there were still an hour for me to prepare. First, I went home to change clothes and took shower. Then I went back to school to meet my other friend because we could see the firework in my high school from Taipei 101. It was really close my high school. When we started to count from the end, everyone in school already prepared their camera. After 12 o'clock, "Happy New Year", and the firework show were staring. Maybe you will think the story is over, but not yet! We already ordered the restaurant of chafing dish. Include me around ten people were having a spree all night long. Is it sounds crazy? Yes, we are crazy!

Comparing the Taiwan and Canada High School Systems

The Taiwan high school system is completely different from Canada high school system. In Taiwan high school system, it has entrance examination before students choose school. In the other word, go to good school or bad school depend on entrance examination . If you get nice score, it means you choose schools. However, if you get bad score, it means schools choose you. Under the Taiwan high school system, all of the subjects arrangement decided by school. Since 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day except for weekends, each student follows the school timetable to attend classes. Especially we do not have to change classroom. Just only teachers change their classroom, and we sit one classroom. whole day. Wearing the uniform, most Taiwanese high school order students must to wear uniform. It is one of the school rules. Each school has different uniform, so people always could know which schools are you study from your uniform. The teaching style is more different in Taiwan. We do not have a lot of interaction between teacher and student. For example, teacher always teaches a lot of point to students, so student need to take a lot of notes and read it at home. It is not common to discuss the topic during the class.


However, in Canadian high school system, before students go to the high school, they do not have entrance examination. Unlike Taiwanese students, Canadian students depend on where students live. Then they according to their address to decide which high school are they go. The subject arrangement in Canada is different from Taiwan subject arrangement. The students arrange their school timetable by themselves. Also, they have counsellor to plan their schedule which is totally different from Taiwan. For this reason, Canadian students need to exchange classroom on each course. In Canadian high school, students do not have to wear uniform. Canadian students can dress what they want to wear, for some view is great because students can choose what they want to wear. However, in my personal opinion, it was less some memories for school life. Under the Canadian high school system, teaching style prefer interaction between student and teacher. Teacher always to give some topic to discuss with students and mention some key word let students to find information by themselves for homework. It just not learn from teacher, it learn how to figure out problem by themselves. Although these two high school systems are completely different, they are both have advantage and disadvantage.

Bridge to Terabithia

When you were little, did you ever image a magic world? Did you forget to image a magic world since you grew up? This movie states a boy Jess who was not like to communicate to other. In his home, he has a lot of sibling, parents need to work. They do not have much time to care about him. He doesn't have friend. He usually painted alone in his room except for doing house work or study at school. One day, a new student Leslie came to his school, she was an optimistic and creative girl. They became best friend, and created a magic world in the forest. The entry is a thick rope that only they know. Leslie changes Jess's world. When everything just to begin, suddenly Jess heard a news that Leslie was died...

A Crazy Fad - Animation

In recent years, the animation is more popular and different than past. Because of the technology, animation is more better and varies than before. The animation not just only for children, they are also for adult too. There are many popular animation companies like Walt Disney, Pixar, and Miyazaki Hayao(Japanese animation). These companies made a lot of popular animation like, Wall.e, Toy story, The incredible, Spirited away and so on. Why everybody so crazy about it? There are different between movie, it is very creative. People can use imagination to create a new world in animation. For some counties, it already became the main economy source. Even some movie combine the animation make it more special. Accordingly, is animation still belong to fad? I think it will change to trend in the future, or even not fad and trend anymore.

Main idea:The animation is more popular and different than before. It is not belong to fad or trend anymore.

Resident evil 4

"Resident evil 4" is my favorite video game, so I want to recommend to everyone. This video game decribes main character name "Leon S. Kennedy" , he was ordered to rescue president's daughter by Unite States president. We control Leon and investigate in the village of Europe. This game uses third-person view, and uses infrared rays form guns to aim the enemies.

This story did not continue last game's story, they created a new species virus, and used thoese virus to control all of the village. So, all of the people in village were infected with virus. They were neither zombie nor human, but they would attack who was not one of them. While you are investigating in the village, you need to use your weapons and limited ammunition to protect yourself.

Resident evil 4 is different kind shot game, it doesn't use a lot of weapon or ammunition to kill enemies because it wouldn't give you enough ammunition. So you can use body skill like hands or leg to hit them in the special situation; also, you can use knife to kill them.

This game has three stages village, castle, and island. Each stage has different style, and different enemies. However, if you do not like or afraid blood, I do not suggest you to play this game because this game have a lot of violence and blood. If you really want to play this game, but afraid of blood. You can choise "Biohazard 4", it is a same game, but different language and not much blood. It was made from Japan. If you want to feel that survive in the horrible atmosphere. You can't miss this one.

How to paint a room?

How to paint a room or design a style you like?
You can do it easily, but must importnat is "you must have interest to do". In other words, if you don't like painting, I'm not suggest you to follow my step. In contrast, if you like painting just keep read. First, image a picture you want to paint. It can be a style you like or shape you want, and remember it. Second, find information. You can start looking for picture or take some picture are suit for your image picture. I always looking for magazine or Google the picture that I want. This step is help we to find some concrete from your image because it is hard to paint without other objects to help. Third, when you find enough infromation, you can start to combine your different picture in a piece of paper become a picture that approach your image. Then, you can according to that picture to paint your room. We use pencil to paint draft because it is easy to correct. First pencil draft doesn't need to clean, it always mess. The point of pencil draft is object's position, if object's position are wrong then you need to correct them before you painting on color. After pencil draft, next step is put on color. You can choice different kinds colors you like. For example, watercolor, color pencil, acrylic or oil painting. The final step, most important step, when you put on color whatever which colors, attention to the light and dark contrast. Especially focus on this painting's main object. If you follow this step, I think you will do well.

Manning Park Resort

Three weeks ago, I went to the Manning Park with Douglas college student. This was my first time to play snowboard, I was very nervous and expected. When I arrived there, I felt very different. Because I never saw the road was covered with snow. It's a very special landscape. The trip only two days, one day went to the Manning Park and checked the room. The other day we went to the mountain to play snowboard.

Before the day we play snowboard, we watched the hockey in the bar. It's really make people exciting. Around eleven p.m, I thought everyone should go to bed, so no one would hang out outside now. I walked out the cabin, and went to a spacious plane skiing practice lace outside. I run on the snow like crazy, and lay on the snow, stared at the midnight sky, until I felt cold. It's really a unforgettable experience.

The other day, we woke up early and prepared suitcase to
went to the mountain. When we arrived the mountain, we saw the beautiful landscape. Then, we started to wear our shoes and rent snowboard. Because we were first time play snowboard, there were two teacher would teach us how to use snowboard. It's not easy to walk when I wore snowboard. After learn how to walk, they taught how to turn the direction. Each skill for snowboard made my leg very tired. Around one and half hour, the learn class finally finished. Then I tried to practice the skill that teacher gave for us. However, first always fall down many times, I just fall down over and over again, until I really tired to stand up then I stop the play. It's really tired for a beginner to play snowboard. About three p.m, everyone were very tired, and fell asleep, so we returned the equipment and prepared to go home.

Second day morning, whole my body was pain, and I couldn't get up from my bed. It's terrible. Even I couldn't move my leg to walk. However, if you ask me is this snowboard fun? I will say"It's too bad to you can't fall down in the snow!"
